Sir,
I am directed to refer to your office letter No.Rev.(LR)A3(3)2019-173 dated 05.04.2019 on the subject cited above and to convey the approval of the Government for selection and imparting Patwari training to following 1195 candidates(i.e. 933 candidates in Mohal side and 262 candidates in Settlement side) and 17 eligible chainmen of Settlement
Department Kangra & Shimla(i.e. 9 regular chainmen of Kangra Division &
08 regular chainmen of Shimla Division) in order to fill up vacancies of Patwaris as on 31.12.2018 and vacancies likely to occur in next 5 years(2019-2023) subject to completion of all codal formalities:MOHAL SIDE:

After selection, the candidates will have to undergo prescribed Patwari training of 18 months in Revenue Training Institute, Jogindernagar and will be granted stipend amounting to Rs.3000/- per month(except who are selected from among eligible regular chainmen) for entire training.
An approval of the Government is further conveyed to provide an additional amount of Rs. 300.00 Lac(Rupees Three Crore) only
under Major Head   in the SOE 'Scholarships,
Stipends & Conc Ess' during current financial year with the request to get this amount regularized in the SDG during current financial year.
This is issued with prior concurrence of Finance Department vide their 00 No.54708569-Fin-E/2019 dated 15.06.2019 and Fin-G-C(2)20/2019-L, 54735823 dated 11.07.2019.
You are, therefore, requested to take further appropriate necessary action in the matter immediately under intimation to this Department.
